How We Source
Every Claim

Every fact on this site can be traced to a primary source. We do not editorialize, characterize, or interpret. When a candidate states a position, we quote it verbatim and attribute it. When a law exists, we cite the statute. When we don't know, we say so.

📌
Primary Sources Only

Candidate information comes from official campaign sites. Voting rules come from each state's Secretary of State. Election data comes from government APIs.

💬
"Stated Position" Language

We write "Candidate X stated…" not "Candidate X believes…" — a distinction that matters. We report what is on record, not what we think it means.

⚖️
Equal Treatment, All Parties

Every candidate, incumbent, and challenger is covered by the same standard regardless of party, ideology, or office level. No exceptions.

🔗
Citations on Everything

Every claim links to its source. Every data point has a citation field. If we can't source it, it doesn't appear.
