Voting Rules in Massachusetts
No ID required for established registered voters. Voter identity confirmed by poll book signature.
Any registered voter may request a mail-in ballot without an excuse.
Early in-person voting available 11 business days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 24, 2026. Online registration is available.
Same-day registration available on Election Day.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
