Voting Rules in Florida
Photo ID requested. Voters without photo ID may vote a provisional ballot or sign an affidavit.
Any registered voter may request a vote-by-mail ballot. Request must be made no later than 10 days before the election (e.g., October 24 for the November 3, 2026 General Election).
Early voting available from 10 days to 3 days before Election Day (mandatory 8-day window; counties may offer up to 15 days before through 2 days before).
Voter registration must be completed by October 5, 2026. Online registration is available.
Registration must be completed 29 days before Election Day.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
