Voting Rules in Oregon
Oregon is an all-mail state. Voter identity verified by signature on ballot envelope.
Oregon pioneered all-mail voting. Ballots automatically mailed to all registered voters.
Ballots mailed 2–3 weeks before Election Day; in-person drop boxes and offices available.
Voter registration must be completed by October 13, 2026. Online registration is available.
Oregon's automatic voter registration and same-day registration allow voting through Election Day.
Polls are open from Drop boxes and offices; ballots due 8:00 PM Election Day on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
