Voting Rules in Idaho
Photo ID requested. Voters without ID may sign a personal identification affidavit.
Any registered voter may request an absentee ballot without an excuse.
Absentee voting in person available at county clerk offices up to 30 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 9, 2026. Online registration is available.
Election Day registration available at polls with proof of residency.
Polls are open from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
