Voting Rules in Minnesota
No ID required. Voter identity verified by poll book; vouching by registered voter allowed.
Any registered voter may vote absentee by mail without an excuse.
In-person absentee voting available at county offices 46 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 13, 2026. Online registration is available.
Election Day registration available at polls with proof of residence.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
