Voting Rules in Wisconsin
Strict photo ID required. Voters without ID must cast a provisional ballot and take additional steps.
Any registered voter may request an absentee ballot without an excuse.
In-person absentee voting available 14 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 14, 2026. Online registration is available.
Election Day registration available at polls with proof of residence.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
