Voting Rules in Pennsylvania
No ID required for established registered voters. First-time voters or those at new polling places may need ID.
Any registered voter may request a mail-in ballot without an excuse.
Pennsylvania does not have traditional in-person early voting, but mail ballot drop-off is available.
Voter registration must be completed by October 19, 2026. Online registration is available.
Registration deadline is 15 days before Election Day.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
