Voting Rules in Ohio
Strict ID required; non-photo accepted. Voters without acceptable ID must cast a provisional ballot.
Any registered voter may request an absentee ballot.
In-person early voting available 28 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 4, 2026. Online registration is available.
Registration deadline is 30 days before Election Day.
Polls are open from 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
