Voting Rules in New Jersey
No ID required for established registered voters.
All registered voters automatically receive a mail ballot. In-person voting also available.
Early in-person voting available 10 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 13, 2026. Online registration is available.
Provisional ballots available for same-day registrants on Election Day.
Polls are open from 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
