Voting Rules in New Hampshire
ID requested; non-photo accepted. New Hampshire does not have no-excuse early voting.
Absentee voting requires an approved excuse.
New Hampshire does not offer in-person early voting.
Voter registration must be completed by October 4, 2026. Registration by mail or in person only.
Election Day registration available at polls.
Polls are open from Varies by town (typically 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM) on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
