Voting Rules in Kansas
Strict photo ID required. Voters without acceptable ID must cast a provisional ballot and take additional steps.
Any registered voter may request an advance (mail) ballot.
Advance voting in person available at county election offices 20 days before Election Day.
Voter registration must be completed by October 13, 2026. Online registration is available.
Registration deadline is 21 days before Election Day.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Election Day. If you are in line when polls close you are entitled to vote.
